Goal Is Brain's Food

Every organ is designed for some purpose. Lungs are designed for respiration. Heart's primary function is blood circulation. Brain is designed to achieve goals.

When we lived in jungles, brain's primary goals were to get food & mate and to survive. Now, we live in cities and towns. We don't need to hunt for food or fight for mate. Our physical survival goals are easily achieved.

So, what will brain do?

Brain will create imaginary survival threats to your imaginary identity. Brain will devise ways to protect your identity and survive. That will be default and dis-empowering goals. Media headlines are designed to attract attention of scared brain. Brain constantly seeks and eventually finds threats.

If you are reading this article, relax - your survival is not threatened. You are protected.

Now, give your brain a goal. Give a goal that helps the brain to use all its resources - creativity, planning, intelligence...

It does not matter whether the goal is achieved.

Very act of engaging brain in any goal is a success!

Try it out - Set-up a goal today. Share your goals and everyone participate in fulfillment of your goals!

Goal is brain's oxygen. A brain without goal will soon start withering away. It will lose its sharpness, agility & responsiveness. Goal-less brain will become dull, hazy, lifeless and mechanical.

Remind yourself to set-up goals. Let me give you ideas for taking goals:

1) Take goals in the area of physical health - Exercise, walking, Yoga, Pranayam.

2) Mental Health Goals - Meditation, Relaxation, Prayer.

3) Relationship - Call family-friends, Write an email, Meet.

4) Career & Finance - Update social media profile, Post message. Review finances and investments. Pay credit card bills!

5) Vacation - Plan your next vacation. Develop your hobbies, Contribute to community around you!

Set-up and share goals! Give your brain something to look forward to. Get engaged in the game.
